Writing is a big joy to me as much as having a waffle with blueberry jam

I do believe the power of writing. It moves people, inspires and connects each other with invisible strings and emotion. It allows you to delve into oneself, and draw for the better future. Yes, I am addicted into writing, regardless of language what I use, I enjoy scribbling down on the note whenever something new and fresh ideas come into my mind.

With just one sentence, you can change the world by step by step.

That is the power of the pen.

Exciting moment to interview Korea's favorite movie star, Ahn Sung Kyi

So far so now, I have worked as a journalist since 10-year old. I exactly remember the moment when I had an interview to be the youth journalist for the newspaper called, "여럿이함께 (Together)" with my next door friend. The first interviewee of my life was a 70-year old grandmother who was selling vegetables on the street. I cannot still forget the thrill of the moment by interviewing her and listen to her life story with shining two eyes.

Former president of Korea, Myung Bak Lee at the World Conservation Congress in Jeju

In 2006, I participated in the national article writing competition hosted by "중앙일보(JoongAng Ilbo)," one of the Korea's prestigious newspaper agencies. I was selected as one of the five youth journalists in my age group, by getting the 2nd prize in the national competition. Since then, I have uploaded articles regularly through the internet and one of my articles were published on the daily newspaper for the column section. The column was dealing with the fact that Koreans' national satisfaction index placed 45th among 47 countries, The first moment in my life when your article is published on the newspaper!

2011- Environment Research in China; Beijing, Shanghai, Suzhou and Hangzhou

I worked as a journalist for the school newspaper, "Gimfl Square" at my high school days as well. We published the magazine twice in a year. It was chance to improve my English reporting skills by getting support and advice from my friends, my school seniors and teachers.

After entering to the Ewha Womans University, I started my internship as the staff reporter for the newspaper agency situated in the Jeju Island, Republic of Korea. Jeju Island is designated as the Unesco's World Heritage and it is one of the major tourist attraction site in Asia. I worked for the staff reporter for The Jeju Weekly and also assisted for the Chinese newspaper edition 济州周刊.

Beautiful Jeju Isalnd.

My former editor Mr. Thacker was such a respectable journalist. He became one of my role models, by showing his enthusiasm and passion for the high-quality, transparent and objective writing. I got instructions from him regarding the English reporting from A to Z. He always encouraged me to go to the spot and find the article items, deal wide topics ranging from Society to Sports section.
